Crater Training Academy Foundation at work

 The Crater Training Academy Foundation is grateful for the generous support of our donors and community partners. 


Contributions to CTAF have helped provide resources, enhance academy experiences, and support educational and community-focused events.

Over the years, donated funds have been used to support academy events, training opportunities, recognition programs, equipment and supplies, and other activities that benefit academy participants and promote the mission of the CTAF.

The Foundation is committed to using donated funds responsibly and effectively. Through the generosity of our supporters, we have been able to help provide additional resources that may not otherwise be available through the academy's regular funding.

We are proud to share examples of how community support has made a difference and sincerely appreciate everyone who has contributed to the success of these programs and events.

In early 2026, CTAF was able to make a donation to a law enforcement officer who has been battling cancer, to help support him and his family.

In summer of 2026, CTAF donated a trimmer and blower to CCJTA for use around the 120+ acers of land they use to train on.

In July 2023, one of Crater Criminal Justice Training Academy's Basic Law Enforcement Academy's recruits was injured in a motor vehicle crash. CTAF put together a fundraiser by raffling off tickets to a beach house, and he was presented with a check when he attended the graduation of his classmates.

CTAF Memorial Brick Garden

The Foundation has plans to install a Memorial and Brick Garden.  The Memorial will pay tribute to Crater Academy Officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and the Brick Garden will be a place where individuals can place a brick in someone's honor or memory.
